Abdominoplasty
Tummy Tuck
Complications
Post-operative complications such as infection and blood clots are rare, but can occur. Infection can be treated with drainage and antibiotics, but will prolong hospital stay. The risk of blood clots can minimize by moving around as soon after the surgery as possible. Other complications include: anesthesia reaction, seroma formation, bleeding, infection, hypertrophic scarring, residual deformity, wide umbilical scars, skin loss (major or minor), loss of umbilicus, elevation of the pubic escutcheon, and painful neuromas.
